CCIE Lab in progress

Help ~ time is running out for me to finish the CCIE preparation. My lab is already confirmed and payment already paid. The exam cost me around USD 1540.

Currently i am on the first exam lab after finished all my tutorial and studies regarding the MPLS. Not easy at all but i am working hard on it... hopefully i can complete all the 10 labs in time to attend the examination which held on 3 March 2010. about 90 days from now... i believe it's time for me to start do the countdown day by day...

Anyway my preparation for the lab consider smooth thanks to Mr. Arkun who also taking the exam on february 2010. He been helping me a lot cause whenever i facing some problem or something that not understand i will ask him. Definately owe him a big one...

Gardens ~ @ One Utama

Hello folks ~ it's time for me to upload something before my blog become basi ~ haha... Lately lots of thing happened which changed my life dramatically. No matter what's going on in future we still need to live life to the full ~

Last weekend been to this restaurant call Gardens at One Utama. Located at new wing Ground Floor just right beside of World of Sports. The decoration and the design of the whole place making you feel like really having a break at garden ~ flowers, bushes are all around the dining table.

There are many variety of foods you can get there. From local to thai and of coz western food also available. Tried the pineapple fried rice not bad :) worth to give it a try ~

Super busy this week with lots of tender document need to do... I hate year end.. all the projects come at the same time. Wanna find some time to rest also cannot ~ 2 new project coming and confirmed, one at Taiwan and another at Combodia !! Seems like someone got to travel far far away...

Finally today is flyday and suppose can chill but i still owe my boss few proposal need to submit by Monday. No break for me this weekend !

Pikom showcase @ KL Convention Center

Another exhibition held by Pikom but it's not PC fair but more to software and services showcase. Lots of big company such as Redtone, NEC, Heitech Padu are setting up their booth so do Cisco Systems. I am helping Cisco setting up their stall and jaga for them.

This exhibition might not be exciting as PC fair cause not much sexy show girl around. Only Redtone and Maxis got deploy some show girl to attract ham sap lou. hahahaha.... joking~

Full Month Pillow Goh !!

Last weekend went to lai keng's house at Ara Damansara to visit her son Pillow Goh.. A new born baby turn 1 month old. So sweet to see the baby lying on bed do nothing for whole day... how i wish i am a baby so that no need to work....

Broga Hill, Semenyih

What a day for me... early sunday morning woke up at 4.30am and start my journey to Boga Hill. It took about 30 mins drive from puchong to Semenyih. I thought there will be not much people who willing to wake up so early and climb the hill but to my surprise the place already full of cars parked there which means they reached here much more earlier than me... sot geh

The road to the peak quite okay unless if it was raining the day before i believe you better stay at home and sleep cause it will be challenging to walk on mud after raining.

Took me around 35 mins to reach the first peak station. There are multiple checkpoint you can gather around to wait for the sunrise. Bad day for me as i missed the sunrise due to the cloudy weather. However the wind blowing is so cool~

Aventurous Genting Trip

Wuhahahaha, first time boarded arkun's super honda civic go to genting at mid night. The feeling of your blood flow through your vein when he making all the cornering at high speed make you wanna scream all the way. From cheras we took about 45 mins to reach on top of the genting highland.. super fast.

As usual we chilling at starbucks for a cup of hot coffee and enjoying the cold air blowing against us... this is life !

Before we came down try my luck at the casino.. end up i lose RM 400... luckily both fatty lai and arkun won about RM 1k..

So tired this is the 2nd time i went to penang... Last week i almost drove my car into drain cause too tired and dozing off while driving... There will be project running on August so i am doing all the preparation work before the implementation.

Hopefully everything is going well and all the project completed in time so that i can go for holiday during August at Australia!!! H1N1 please go away...

First Blood

Today will be another special day for me because it was my first time donate blood !!! At first i thought it will be quite dizzy after blood donation but to my surprise it was just normal... not that scary duh. It took less than 5 mins and the whole full pack was loaded with my blood ! Looks yummy !!! My blood soon will be used in operation for my friend's dad who is doing heart bypass operation... wish him all the best and get well soon !

Dinner @ The Ship

Last Sunday went to The Ship @ SS2 for dinner with few of my gay friends but this time a shy pretty girl joined us as well. The Ship so call the best steak in town....at least better that Victoria Station :p. So long i never been there cause the food there is a bit cozy. Overall the environment and services not that bad.

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone.... time flies~It is been another new year again and same goes to everyone age +1. Many things happen for the past whole year... happy or sad yet life still goes on as usual. I think what really sad year of 2008 is the global financial meltdown. It's being called the worst financial crisis. Beginning with the mortgage crisis which soon escalated with the bankruptcy of the large investment bank Lehman Brothers. After that more and more company involved such as AIA - more than 500000 jobs were lost in the US alone... So for those who celebrating new year indeed year 2009 is a tough year ahead !

This year i celebrate new year eve at Foo's condo and we have some gathering and bbq session at pool side. Is a bad end of 2008 and a bad start of 2009 because i am sick !! cough like a dog...

Well many of us sick so plenty of food this time. Any interesting event during the day ? Hmmm... i am sick so not really observe things that going around but we took about 2 hours to get the fire ready... what a day ! End of the session everyone jump into the pool to celebrate new year 2009 ~ yeah baby .. Wish everyone all the best and hope we can meet again next year same time but i suggest different place... :-)

Taipei Outstation

Hello,

It's been sometime since the last blog i posted here. Lately a bit busy with my work because last week just back from Taipei outstation. Everything go as what we planned and the project was completed in time without any delay. So long i never travel far away, and finally i got the opportunity this time.

The flight from KLIA to Taipei is around 5 hours ++. The first moment when i arrived at the airport i quickly rush outside to get a taxi to my surprise there are taxi everywhere... From the airport to my hotel is around 40 miles away.... guess what the taxi fee for that journey cost me TWD 1200 is around RM 130 !!

After settle my daily work of cause is time to tour around town. During night there are night market everywhere. They call it "ye shi" in mandarin. It's something like pasar malam where you can get all kind of famous local food and you can also buy clothes etc etc.

During my visit to Taipei, i manage to travel outskirt a small town call "jiu fen". Nothing special just some town that locate on higher ground. In order to get there, i need to take 1 hour train from Taipei to Ruifeng and from Ruifeng took a bus to my destination.... It's very tired...but adventure :)

Basically is not a good time to go during weekend because the crowd will be very very pack... you can't even stop and buy something. Well you can try their "mua zhi" over here is quite nice and famous.

这个问题小时候想过，也就那么一想，然后就忘了，只能说是一种好奇。人死了是什么样子呢？

现在又想自杀了。活着没有任何意义，现在活着只是为了父母，其他没有任何事情没有任何人值得我留恋。不想活着增加地球的负担，不想再看那么多的人，不想看那么多的楼，喘不过气来。想出去旅游，但是到处人满为患。想出家当和尚，但是现在寺庙也只知道挣钱，全是假和尚。想找个安静的处所都是奢望。天天活的没有什么可开心的。

小时候想过，想当电影里的英雄，想功成名就，想娶个贤惠的老婆，想过白头偕老，但是长大了，看明白了，这些都是人们的美好想象，像泡沫一样，只不过这个泡沫比较持久，美丽但是很脆弱。世界上没有永恒的这个情那个情，只有永恒的利益。这是人的劣根性也是社会的劣根性，谁也避免不了，谁也不是神。

现在人们都在忙什么，忙忙碌碌的；又都在空虚什么，无所事事。人为什么要有情感，要有思想，为什么自寻烦恼。

我觉得我逐渐的有精神压抑，活着是精神分裂。总是在压抑自己，在强迫自己努力，但是目标渺茫，终究是为了什么，我也不知道。感觉很疲惫，身体累，心理更累，压抑的太久，又无法释放，只能继续压抑，像在一个黑暗的迷宫，没有出口。

怎么自杀？我想我会选择枪杀活着跳悬崖。不过枪杀比较容易，不会有什么意外失手。跳悬崖如果挂到树上就不好了，跳楼会砸到别人，不好。一瞬间的事情，从哪里来，回哪里去，不带走任何多余的东西。从世界上小时，永远的停留在梦境，也是美好的，解脱了。我会等父母过世了再这么做的，那个时候就没有任何人为我伤心。这样挺好的。我会带着一个问题去自杀，会带着一种考究的心理去自杀，看过CUBE这个电影么？人活在三维空间，但是理论上是有四维甚至多维空间的，人活在这个空间里，或许死了以后就会到另外的空间里去。自杀了，就什么都明白了。

我挺羡慕简单的生活，因为如果思维简单，就不会去想那么多复杂的问题，或许也不会想如何自杀，为什么自杀等等问题。人如果知道了太多的东西，对未来的预想知道的太多，会想的越多，然后就越复杂，越捉摸不透。但是这个世界充满了诱惑，充满了黄赌毒，充满了欺骗。活着的意义在哪里？

Terrorist ? or Counter Terrorist ?

Anyone wanna war ? This is the first time in my life play this game. It's really really really tiring but very exciting. Yesterday, we have all together 16 commandos from all over KL gather together for this fight. There are few different stages from the small fighting area to the urban assault. We divided into 3 teams as below :-

"Kev,Juck,Estee,Khoo,OL" -- Team CCB

"Honey Chu, Christine, Boon Siew, CH, Hui Chen" -- Team KNS

"Jeat, Soon, Stefanie,Evyonne,SB,Foo" -- Team MKH

After few mins of briefing by the marshal, everyone were ready and the war started. Grats team CCB Champs!! kekekeke....

After the game end, few of them injured from the bullets of our M-16 guns. Christine was one of the casualty with serious injury (too weak easily target).

The whole game cost about RM 90 per-person so total about RM 1400 ++ . Everyone will have around 300 ++ bullets to shoot at your will. Overall rating is okay.

Guns : Sometime stuck means u gonna get shoot.
Gears: No vest or glove provided.

Goodbye~ That's it... i QUIT !!!

24th October 2008, 4.30pm I decided to resign from my current position at Packet Systems. That's it, i had enough of suffering in this company. This is my first job since i graduated from college and surprising last me for more than 4 yrs ++. It's quite long actually and i never thought my first job will be last so long. The main reason and what makes me stay at PS for so long.... thanks to all my colleagues.

I am considered as one of the first generation engineers who worked for PS, until today only left Mr. FOO who fought together with me since the first day i joined PS. I'm glad to see him finally got his CCIE last month~ CCIE 21891 !! Everyone stand up and sallute!!!!!!!!!!!!! Right now PS engineers i also dunno how many generation liao.

Busy weekend

This weekend really busy like hell... Friday work after office hour, saturday morning 10am training at Juniper Network office after that work @ PJ till 8pm. Where is my life ?!?! No life at all.. Is time to find the way back into love~

Chillout @ No Black Tie

I never been to such place to chill, where you can sit there drinks and listen to live-band Jazz music, sounds like an old man. The place is a bit small with simple wooden-based design and the dim light setting is just nice to capture the moment of the Jazz music. They have a list of schedule where different kind of live band performing the music. Yesterday the drummer steal the show, it was marvelous.

It's quite expensive, without any drinks or food you will need to pay RM 30 something like entrance fee. Drinks you need to pay another RM 30 for cocktail or wine. I can drink 5 starbucks coffee !!! Damn....

Having this 5 days training for the product call Bluecoat. What is bluecoat ? I guess not many people know about it unless you are from IT background. Blue Coat Systems, Inc., founded in 1996 in US. Blue Coat secures Web communications and accelerates business applications across the distributed enterprise. Basically it speed up and secure your daily uses of application in your PC which related to work or not.

Well i miss my cubicle in office liao... getting bored cause i am the only one that send by my company to train at bluecoat office. After this training i know 100% got new customer is using it and they need someone to do it :(

Lately i am not having good night sleep due to many problems troubling my mind. I been working late night again and again and again without a good rest. In a short period of 4 days, my OT claim already more than 30 hours ! which means i m over-worked for 7 hours per day. Ohh gosh... this is terrible!! This proved that i m so not productivity... I am like a robot that run without battery. I am losing weight from 75 kg to 68kg now... How how how ?

So boring at home alone, i m writing blog at Starbucks~ Hahaha... at home can online but really too boring.

My favourite place to chill with a cup of Ice Blended Mocha + cream = RM 13.13 (is darn expensive).

First time i came here at SS15 Starbucks opposite Inti College Subang Jaya, not a bad place :p There are actually peoples playing UNO, Cards, Towering Block, so happening. I am alone today, without my chilling kaki Gob / Lai.... Life really sucks when you are alone~

Before he died, he knew that a fund-raising event would be held each year, with the same objectives as the Marathon of Hope - to help find a cure for cancer.

Since 1981, the Terry Fox Run has raised more than RM1.3 billion in aid of cancer research around the world.

The Terry Fox run is organized by a volunteer committee comprising individuals and representatives of institutions. All members of the organizing committee are not paid. Endurance wasn't build in a day, a strong mind starts with a fit body. 好累啊。。。just back from work out at gym it was so tired~ I am a member of fitness first...yes it's fitness first! Joined about 3 months ago. Last month totally don't have time to go due to project and also because i broke my ankle :( but now i am back again!!

Actually sometimes i think go gym is waste of time and money as we can buy some dumbbell and do it at home. Is truth but i am lack of motivation to do it at home so i use money to motivate myself to go gym at least 3-4 times a week or else will "rugi-lo". This is how the work out for me:-

15mins - Hamster run (trek mill) - to warm up.
15mins - Machine
15mins - Weight Lifting
15mins - Rest.... walk around look around
15mins - Cycling
15mins - Steambath/Sauna

Total time = 1 hour 30 minutes (hoho, you must be thinking that i am damn fit but now still fat with a round tummy)

Weekend attend class such as bodyattack, bodypump, etc etc.

So after a busy day at work take some time to exercise you will feel better and feel refreshing. Not really have to go gym, you can do some home exercise like rolling on bed.... hehe ooops! careful your head don't bang the wall ya :p

Why we must not eat meat ?

Food~ Many of us eat meat as their daily meal but do we know that actually meat is bad for health ? I think if i ask 100 peoples on the street, more than 90% of them are meat eater which including me! LOL. Is hard to suddenly force a person to be a vegetarian who been eating meat for the past 10 yrs or 20yrs but why we must not eat meat ?

Maybe because some historians say that man is historically omnivorous, our anatomical equipment teeth, jaws, and digestive system favors a fleshless diet. (i know you want to scold bullshit) Well is good also la if we eat some vege dont always meat meat meat~ There are one nice vegetarian food near my office, sometimes we do go and had our lunch :-)

Two hours later.... everyone in office start to feel hungry and look for food. Vege don't last long LOL.
In my opinion, there are far more benefits to becoming a vegetarian than becoming or staying a meat eater. Due to the fact that I was raised on meat, so is just the matter of time to turn semi- vegetarian--->herbivorous. Simply because in our present polluted environment, where people are forced to overwork, we will still fall sick even we are vegetarian. There are many things that out of our control, just do whatever you think is good :p

Hurhur, my lunch time at 6pm yesterday with one of my slacker gang Gob a.k.a Siang Chin. Again everytime when we driving one of us will ask "eh, where to eat?" and the answer will always be the same " cin cai la, i am hungry!! " but this time i made my decision and invited him to Sunway SS15. It's a food court called "Asia Cafe" just opposite the Inti College Subang.

The main purpose why i want to go Asia Cafe and eat because there are lots pretty college girl ? Hahaha of cause nah (but seriously got a lot college girl there during study period)~ is because of the Nasi Lemak stall there. For those that familiar with Subang it's actually located on the corner coffee shop (now is Starbucks) just opposite McD and one more is near the The One Academy (not sure still available) So far it's the best i can find in subang/puchong especially the rendang :) It's also a very good place to watch EPL (TV besar) but usually very pack.

I know many of you guys play computer games at home, so do I. Previously I am actively played this game ----> World of Warcraft (WoW). It is a MMORPG and i am addicted to it for about 1 year 4 months. Frankly, this game is really wonderful but it destroyed my life because I almost lost something that money can't buy~~ so i make a very difficult decision to quit this game.

After say goodbye to WoW, currently i m looking for some fun game with less commitment. These few days, suddenly remind me of a very old game CAESAR III. For those that like challenge I highly recommended you this game.

Yes!! IV!! The game play and goal is still the same, prosperity, culture, population etc. Apparently they add some totally new look on graphic which is 3D effect and also increase the difficulty of the game (omg i cant even complete the caesar III quests).

大家好。This is my first blog ever posted!! Yesterday I went to bbq party at my colleague's house somewhere around Sg. Long. There are about 20 of us, is a bit too pack cause the place a bit small to fit us all in. The best ever thing happen when bbq is raining!!! so cham need to use umbrella ~~

After few hours and yet to get any food from the bbq some of us (gob, steph, me) went out to nearby coffee shop to eat something. We found this "Susan's Bistro" and tried the tiramisu so called the best in town.
